BACOLOD City – Fully inoculated residents of this city may now avail themselves of “BACuna” coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination cards.
According to Dr. Chris Sorongon, deputy for medical, data analysis and management of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), applicants may contact the Management Information Technology and Computer Services (MITCS) office through the following:
* Facebook Support Page (https://www.facebook.com/BCDGOVTECHSUPPORT)
* email address (bacunabcdts@gmail.com)
* telephone number – (034) 435-4168
The BACuna card can be used for easier domestic travel and is an alternative to the vaccine certificate or vaccine card, Sorongon said.
It has a “scannable” quick response (QR) code for verification and authentication.
“In the future other establishments may only allow fully vaccinated individuals to dine or watch movies,” Sorongon said.
The BACuna card contains the person’s personal data, brand and lot number of the vaccine received, and the location and date where the jabs were administered.
Applicants can get their cards after two to three days, Sorongon said./PN
