BACOLOD City – Two residents of Barangay Atipuluan, Bago City, Negros Occidental were arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.
Julius Suyo, 19, and Brian Patoc, 20, accompanied “Bettina” (not her real name) to a fiesta in Barangay Cansilayan, Murcia town before taking her to a house in Barangay Dulao, Bago City, police said.
Robert Magbanua owned the house where the sexual assault happened around 2:30 a.m. on May 7, investigation showed.
The victim is a resident of this capital city.
Officers from the 4th Maneuver Platoon of the Provincial Public Safety Company caught the suspects, who were detained at the Bago City police station.
Suyo and Patoc used a motorcycle owned by a certain “Jason” in taking the victim from Murcia to Bago City, police said./PN
