BACLOD City – The city government of Bago in Negros Occidental is targeting to test 300 more Bagoeños for possible coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection.
Mayor Nicholas Yulo said today’s second round of mass testing was recommended by the city’s Contact Tracing Team.
During the “Timeout Weekend,” according to Yulo, the turnout in Bago City was below their target of 800 persons to be tested.
“We only had 318 persons tested,” he explained.
Barangays to be covered by the mass testing are Balingasag, Lag-asan, Sampinit, Poblacion, Dulao, Busay, Caridad, Atipuluan, Abuanan, Binubuhan and Mailum.
Also to be tested are frontliners, close contacts of COVID-19 patients and those with symptoms of the viral illness./PN
