BACOLOD City – Charged with sexual abuse, a man was arrested in Barangay Lag-asan, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
The 64-year-old Eddie Bailon of Barangay Poblacion, Bago City was caught on Wednesday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Frances Guanzon of the Regional Trial Court Branch 62 issued on Sept. 12.
Bailon faces charges for violation of Section 5, Article 3 of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, a police report showed.
Bailon was detained in the lockup facility of the Bago City police station.
The court recommended a P180,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
