BACOLOD City – A 62-year-old man died after a multi-cab accidentally hit him, a police report showed.
Alfredo Acusero was trying to cross a national highway in Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental at the time.
He was taken to the Bago City District Hospital but attending physician Dr. Arianne Gayle Togonon pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
The accident happened at 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 3, the police report stated.
Police identified the vehicle as a Hyundai Porter Double Cab bearing a temporary license plate (number 120102).
The Bago City police station took its driver – Marchito Fabe, 45, of Bais City, Negros Oriental – in custody./PN
