ILOILO City – Ariel Holario was accused of peddling illegal drugs. He was detained at the police station in Mandurriao district.
Police arrested him in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao where he also lived.
A police report stated that the 29-year-old Holario sold to undercover police a plastic pack of suspected shabu for P500.
Three more plastic packs of the same substance were recovered from him during the operation at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said Holario was a “newly identified” drug suspect – meaning, he was not among those they were already watching out for.
