ILOILO City – A “high-value” drug target was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district.
Fifteen sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the 50-year-old Glenn Ituriaga, a resident of the village, a police report showed.
The value of the seized suspected drugs was not immediately available.
Ituriaga was caught after he sold a sachet of the suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500 around 10 a.m. on Friday.
Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 and Police Station 5’s City Drug Enforcement Unit staged the sting operation.
Detained in the Mandurriao police station, Ituriaga will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
