ILOILO City – Two brothers were stabbed in Barangay Baldoza, La Paz district.
Antonio, 54, and Genesis, 28 — both surnamed Caldo — sustained stab wounds on the nose and the chest, respectively, a police report showed.
They were taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro around 7:20 p.m. on May 31, but Genesis was transferred to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao for further treatment.
Police have yet to identify the suspects in attacking the brothers.
After seeing a certain “Mat-Mat” punch Antonio, Genesis grabbed a bladed weapon inside their house and stabbed Mat-Mat.
That was when Genesis got stabbed by an unidentified attacker, and Antonio was stabbed by another, the police report showed./PN
