BACOLOD City – Only one of the two targets in a drug sting operation in Barangay Banago landed in jail. The other evaded arrest.
The entrapment operation that officers from Police Station 3 staged on Sunday led to the apprehension of the 46-year-old Romel Cayutado, resident of Banago.
Cayutado’s companion Leoner Jalando-on – also 46 and resident of Banago – was still at large as of this writing.
Recovered from the suspects were suspected shabu estimated to be worth P12,000, police said.
Drug paraphernalia were also recovered from them, added the cops.
Cayutado was detained at the Police Station 3 lockup facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him./PN
