BACOLOD City – The target of a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Banago evaded arrest but police were able to catch three other drug suspects he left behind.
Ronelo Neri, a resident of Banago, was still at large as of this writing, according to Police Station 3.
The police station’s antinarcotics personnel staged on Saturday night an entrapment operation against Neri but instead caught Jovert Declenes, June Glaraga and Jared Renz Hervias – also residents of the village.
Police said one sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the suspects.
Declenes, Glaraga and Hervias were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 3.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the four suspects, police said./PN
