ILOILO – A casual employee of the Banate municipal government was caught for possessing illegal drugs in the town’s Barangay Alacaygan around 10:05 a.m. yesterday.
The 39-year-old alias “RB,” a resident of Barangay Poblacion, was tagged as a high-value drug suspect.
Banate police station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P68,000.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Banate police station, facing a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
