BACOLOD City – For alleged illegal fishing, two men were arrested in Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Jonathan Sanico, 38, and Hernani Sanico, 20, were residents of Barangay Sum-ag here.
The Bantay Dagat Task Force of Bago City was conducting seaborne patrol around 4 a.m. on Sept. 14 when they caught the suspects fishing in the city’s territorial waters.
Recovered from the suspects were two kilos of fish, fishing net and a fishing boat.
They were placed under the custody of the Bantay Dagat Task Force./PN
