ILOILO City – Barangay Captain Dominador Deocampo of Baybay Tanza, City Proper was accused of mauling a constituent.
A 21-year-old villager, William Gabion, reported to the police that Deocampo and relatives Ruel and “Tolendoy” ganged up on him.
Gabion sustained injuries on the head and body after the alleged attack at around 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, police said.
According to Gabion, he just wanted to check on a cousin who he heard got into a fight.
But Deocampo suddenly punched him on the chest while Ruel choked him and “Tolendoy” struck his head with a bottle, Gabion claimed.
Deocampo and his relatives cannot be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
