ILOILO City – A barber in Mandurriao district complained to the police that his colleague punched him.
Aljun Roquero, 23, of Barangay Pakiad, Oton, Iloilo told the police he did not know why fellow barber Kim Jacosalem of Zone II Barangay Timawa, Molo would strike him.
Roquero claimed they were just talking at the God Bless Barbershop in Barangay Oñate-De Leon, Mandurriao when Jacosalem suddenly got irked and hit him.
The incident at around 5 p.m. on March 25 left him with a swollen lip, Roquero reported to the police.
Roquero further claimed that Jacosalem fled toward an unknown direction after attacking him.
Jacosalem cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred the incident to the barangay lupon./PN
