BARDA fans could not contain their kilig after love-team partners Barbie Forteza and David Licauco pondered on being a “couple” in an apparent skit.
In the clip shared by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 19, the actor begins their conversation by asking Forteza “Crush ka ba ng crush mo?”
She responds, “Hindi e. Ikaw? Crush ka ba ng crush mo?”, to which the actor replied, “Sana.”
After Licauco’s response, the actress murmurs about how the former was unsure of his answer.
Forteza, seemingly thinking out loud, then asks Licauco, “Tayo na lang kaya?”
In a heartbeat, he answers, “Sige.”
The pair then look at each other for a second then both face the camera with their widened eyes.
Gushing fans then flooded the comments section, with some of them daring the love team to be a real couple.
Forteza and Licauco gained popularity as a love team after working together in the hit GMA TV series “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” After the success of the show, the pair also starred in the miniseries “Maging Sino Ka Man,” TV series “Pulang Araw” and the 2024 film “That Kind of Love.”
Forteza earlier made headlines after she announced her breakup with her longtime boyfriend, actor Jak Roberto.
