BARON Geisler is the latest celebrity to join the Philippine military as a reservist.
In an Instagram post over the weekend, the 38-year-old actor revealed that he just signed up for military training under the Philippine Navy.
Sharing photos of himself at the 511th Naval Squadron Reserve in Tinago, Cebu, Baron wrote: “My day was such a blessing. Thank you, Abba Father for leading and guiding me to the right path. My life is purposed to serve YOU and the people I meet on this journey. Thank you for protecting me and my family. I love You!”
Baron welcomed his first child with his wife Jamie Evangelista last January, just months after the couple married in a civil ceremony. They named their baby girl Talitha Cumi.
The actor was last seen in the ABS-CBN action-drama series FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano.”
Several stars have also signed up to be part of the country’s military reserve force.
Among them are Matteo Guidicelli, Gerald Anderson, Ejay Falcon, Elmo Magalona, Yves Flores, Jerome Ponce, and Nash Aguas.(Push)
