ILOILO City – Police raided a house in Barangay Vista Alegre, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, leading to the recovery of a loose firearm.
A .45-caliber pistol loaded with three live bullets was seized from 44-year-old resident Jimmy Amion, police said.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 6 a.m. on July 24.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Barotac Viejo municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
