PASSI City – Amistads/TEJ Builders, Department of Public Works and Highways2nd DEO/J. Cordon/Double J and Guimaras Leopards lifted off for their second straight victories in the 1st Pintados de Pasi Invitational Open Basketball Tournament at the City of Passi Arena here on March 1.
Amistads/TEJ Builders notched their second win following a 93-57 domination over the Philippine National Police, which absorbed its second straight defeat.
Jayjay Guanzon led the victors with 18 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
DPWH 2nd DEO/J. Cordon/Double J, on the other hand, was able to complete a follow up to its opening day triumph after edging Hercor College Jaguars (1-1).
Richard Fritz Dulce registered a double-double figure of 10 points and 10 assists for DPWH.
Guimaras Leopards, for its part, also surged to a second straight win following a 90-71 annihilation of Ogtonganons.
Jeffry Espinosa delivered 16 points to lead the way for the Guimarasnons.
JKG Mamba, meanwhile, was able to redeem their opening day loss after defeating XYZ/Toto-Tia-Ten Trucking (0-2), 110-90.
Armar Talimay had a hot outing for JKG with 34 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.
