ILOILO City – Accused of domestic violence, a resident of Barangay Embarcadero, Batad, Iloilo was arrested.
The 58-year-old Rodrigo Gonzales was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant yesterday, a police report showed.
Officers of the municipal police station served the warrant the court issued in relation to the charge for violation of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004) that Gonzales faces.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Batad police station.
The court recommended a P24,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
