ILOILO City – After nine years of searching, the police finally arrested the most wanted fugitive in Batad, Iloilo.
Renante Salazar, 39, of the town’s Barangay Pasayan was accused of murder.
He was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 4 p.m. on March 8 in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Maayon, Capiz.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Batad police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
