In the third season of “Glow” that just premiered on Netflix, a familiar face was spotted. BB Gandanghari made an appearance in the eighth episode as a tarot reader named Patricia. She shared a scene with lead star Alison Brie, who plays Ruth Wilder a.k.a. Zoya the Destroya. In the last five minutes of the episode, Ruth entered Patricia’s trailer to ask for a reading as she grappled with her future in wrestling.
BB was stoked to be part of her favorite show. The transgender actress said on Instagram, “I am grateful and thankful to be a part of this super successful show, “Glow!” Booking a job is always exciting, but booking your favorite show brings the excitement to an entirely different level.”
“Glow” is inspired by and named after the real-life TV show about female wrestlers that aired in the ‘80s.
Last month, BB shared her very first Hollywood project, “Too Old To Die Young,” a show about a detective-slash-assassin who goes through an existential crisis. BB appeared in episode nine as a character named Uror. (Cosmo.ph)
