THE Philippines’ latest Miss International representative is claiming that 2025 will be “our year.”
Myrna Esguerra made the statement on Instagram over the weekend as she shared her latest close-up shots.
“Happy OUR year!” she said in the caption.
Fans and friends of Esguerra flooded the comments section of her post, saying they believe she has what it takes to win the Philippines’ seventh Miss International crown.
Even her predecessor, Angelica Lopez, showed her support. “Yes, queen! Go get that crown,” she said.
Esguerra from Abra was crowned as the country’s next Miss International delegate during the 60th edition of Binibining Pilipinas.
She also won five special awards, including Best in National Costume, Best in Swimsuit, and Best in Evening Gown.
Some pageant fans believe that her win was “written in the stars” – a “Myrna” was proclaimed the very first Binibining Pilipinas winner 60 years ago. (ABS-CBN News)
