
BACOLOD City- The 16-meter flagpole has finally been set up at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
The BCPO described the new flagpole as the tallest flagpole in the city, with no government funding spent in its construction.
Colonel Manuel Placido, city director of BCPO thanked the brothers, Architect Caesar Ken Panisales and Engineer Eman Ken Panisales, proprietor of Acster Marketing.
The top official of BCPO expressed gratitude to the brothers for erecting and constructing the new BCPO flagpole using their own funds.
“With the new flagpole at the middle of the BCPO parade ground,” Placido said, “the proud and honored feeling are all beaming at every BCPO personnel faces, high in pride and spirit, having in their midst a more dignified flagpole for the Philippine flag that symbolized our country, the sacrifices of our ancestors, the honor of our heroes, of freedom-loving Filipinos, and the collating symbol of our dedicated service to countrymen.”
He added that with the flagpole’s height, the Philippineflag could be seen a distance.
He also praised the design as “simple, yet regal”, and said it is sure to catch people’s attention due to its “imposing presence and its perfect location.”/PN
