BCPO, NOCCPO hailed ‘best’ in PH

BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCCPO) have been declared the best city and provincial police offices in the country, respectively.

BCPO garnered an overall rating of 97.04 percent while the NOCCPO had 92.33 percent.

Their awards will be conferred during the 122nd Police Service Anniversary (PSA) celebration on Aug. 8 in Camp Crame.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran commended the BCPO led by director Police Colonel Noel Aliño.

“BCPO’s outstanding performance has rightfully placed them at the top position among other worthy contenders across the Philippines,” Benitez said in a social media post.

He added: “This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the exemplary leadership, professionalism and unwavering dedication exhibited by every team member.”

“This (award) also instills a profound sense of trust and confidence among the people of Bacolod,” Benitez also said.

Familiaran, acting mayor from Aug. 3 to 5, also congratulated the BCPO but emphasized there is always room for improvement.

On his part, Aliño told the media, “Dahil po sa inyo, dahil po ito sa gusto natin lahat ng pagbabago, isa po ito sa magandang halimbawa at resulta ng Bacolodnons.”/PN
