BCPO reshuffles police officers

BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) reshuffled some of its police officers.

Based on the order of BCPO director, Police Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir, Police Lieutenant Colonel Joeffer Cabural was designated as head of the Bacoldo City Mobile Force Company.

Police Major Ramel Sarona was relieved from his post as station commander of Police Station 1 and reassigned as officer-in-charge of the city’s Traffic Enforcement Unit.

Replacing Sarona as Police Station 1 commander was Police Major Elmer Bonilla, who was previously the commander of Police Station 7.

Police Major Ritchie Gohee, meanwhile, was assigned as head of the Center for Police Strategy and Management Unit.

Police Major Joery Puerto was pulled out as commander of Police Station 8 and was reassigned as officer-in-charge of the BCPO Intelligence Unit. Police Captain Glenn Montaño replaced Puerto at Police Station 8.

Police Captain Edward Bolivar was designated as officer-in-charge of Police Station 7 while Police Major Junji Liba was assigned as deputy of the Traffic Enforcement Unit.

Moreover, Police Lieutenant Jose Rollo Jr. was designated as deputy commander of Police Station 3.

The said reassignments took effect on Monday, Feb. 13.

According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Sherlock Gabana, spokesperson of BCPO, it was a normal reshuffling because some of the police officers were already overstaying in their posts./PN
