BACOLOD City β The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has been recognized as the Best City Police Office in Western Visayas and the best city police office in the campaign against illegal drugs during the 121st Police Service Anniversary celebration at the Police Regional Office (PRO-6) in Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City on Sept. 15.
BCPO director, Police Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir, received the awards given by Police Major General Benjamin Santos Jr., acting deputy chief for operations of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the guest of honor and speaker of the event.
Moreover, Police Station 2, under the leadership of Captain Paul Vincent Pendon, was adjudged as the Best Numbered City Police Station and the best unit in the campaign against illegal drugs for numbered city police station level.
Police Station 4, under the leadership of Major Ritchie Gohee, was also awarded as best unit (numbered city police station level) in Tokhang Kontra Armas Luthang (TKAL), while Police Station 6 bagged the best unit award for the implementation of “Birada Semana.”
Santos congratulated all the awardees for the job well done
