BACOLOD City – Charged with oral defamation, a 35-year-old beautician was arrested in Barangay 2, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
She was identified as Analiza Mainit, police said.
Mainit – resident of Ilog, Negros Occidental – was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant on Tuesday, the police added.
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station served the warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61.
The suspect was detained in custodial facility of the said police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P18,000 for Mainit’s temporary liberty./PN
