BELA Padilla dismissed the claims that there was conflict between her and Piolo Pascual after netizens spotted that the former unfollowed the actor on Instagram.
Padilla confirmed that she did unfollow Pascual and Kyle Echarri, explaining that it was her way of decluttering her social media following list.
“I did! [unfollow them]. I woke up one day and I was following around 7,000 people. So now, I’m trying to declutter by bringing my following down to zero slowly and then will follow my friends back one by one after. I was just talking to Kyle about this last night,” she wrote.
Another netizen pitched in to express their relief, writing, “Akala ko may issue kayo ni Papa P. Kilig na kilig pa naman ako sa inyo.”
“Never! He’s one of my most trusted friends in our industry,” responded Padilla.
The actress said that she was explaining this to the netizens because “she doesn’t like fake news.”
The trio caught netizens’ attention after Padilla recently unfollowed Pascual and Echarri on Instagram amid the rumors that two men were involved in a brawl with Daniel Padilla and his celebrity friends at the recent ABS-CBN Ball.
In a video that went viral on social media, Pascual, Echarri, and Kathryn Bernardo were seen exiting with JK Labajo, Belle Mariano, and Donny Pangilinan, among others.
At some point in the video, Pascual was captured “hitting” Echarri on the shoulder, which caused the latter to give the former a certain “irritated look.”
However, the stars or their management have yet to address the rumors.
Meanwhile, Bela, Pascual and Echarri previously hinted that they have an upcoming project in the works.
In February, the actress posted some behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram as she thanked Pascual and Echarri for working with her anew.
The trio previously worked on the drama thriller series “Pamilya Sagrado,” headlined by the two actors as Bela appeared in a guest role. (Jessica Ann Evangelista © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
