ILOILO City – Police arrested a drug suspect in Barangay Lumbia, Estancia, Iloilo after he failed to appear in court for a hearing.
The 20-year-old resident Alfred Barrios was served a bench warrant on Wednesday.
Barrios faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He was detained in the custodial facility of the Estancia police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for Barrios’ temporarily liberty./PN
