ILOILO City – For illegal gambling, a man was arrested in Barangay Palaypay, Anilao, Iloilo.
The 34-year-old bet collector Renante Sapuay was caught around 1 p.m. on Monday, a police report showed.
Officers from the Anilao police station chanced upon him collecting bets for an illegal game that was not immediately clear in the report.
Gambling money worth P3,000 and gambling paraphernalia were recovered from Sapuay, who was detained in the municipal police station’s custodial facility./PN
