BACOLOD City – She was caught while collecting bets for an illegal numbers game, police said.
Cheryl Martinez was arrested on Wednesday in Barangay 2, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Officers from the Pontevedra municipal police station were patrolling the village when Martinez was caught.
Martinez is a bet collector for the Small Town Lottery (STL), police said.
Recovered from Martinez’s possession were a notebook, a ball pen, an STL receipt, and P250 cash.
