BACOLOD City – The tricycle he was driving crashed against a cargo truck in Barangay Payao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Joelito Guingona of Barangay Bagroy, Binalbagan sustained head and body injuries, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Bagroy overtook another vehicle and hit the truck driven by the 29-year-old Raymond Salcedo of Barangay Cabadiangan, Himamaylan City around 9 p.m. on April 1.
Guingona was rushed to the Binalbagan Infirmary where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Salcedo, meanwhile, was taken to the Binalbagan municipal police station./PN
