Bingawan man yields P104K ‘shabu’

ILOILO – Fifteen grams of suspected shabu valued at around P104,000 were recovered from a habal-habal driver in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Guinhulacan, Bingawan.

Alias “Buknoy,” a resident of the town, was arrested on Thursday night, May 23.

According to Police Captain Jojo Octavo, chief of the Bingawan Municipal Police Station (MPS), they have been monitoring the suspect and an operation was carried out after confirming he was engaged in illegal drug trade.

The suspect was taken into custody by the Bingawan MPS.

He will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
