BACOLOD City – Seven persons were detained at the police station in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The police there claimed catching them playing an unsanctioned Bingo game at about 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 15 in Barangay Caradio-an.
The suspects were Milagros Masagnay, 65; Nancy Juguan, 56; Archel Juguan, 33; Ma. Luz Gimena, 61; Mervie Tingson, 33; Ofelia Capnao, 52; and Analyn Mayongue, 35, all residents of Barangay Caradio-an.
Police said these persons face charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 that prohibits illegal gambling.
Recovered from the suspects were a total of P147 cash, Bingo cards and paraphernalia./PN
