BACOLOD City – The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in this city is again temporarily closing its doors to the public.
In an advisory, BIR Western Visayas director Antonio Jonathan Jaminola said the closure would allow the thorough disinfection of the agency’s premises for four days beginning today.
The disinfection will be conducted by the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
On July 17, BIR’s office in this capital city was shut down after one visiting client turned out positive for coronavirus disease 2019.
The office was re-opened three days later after a thorough disinfection of the premises./PN
