ILOILO City – His friend stabbed him on the back – literally.
The 24-year-old Eugene Arbolado was confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Police identified his attacker as his 28-year-old friend John Christian Dela Cruz.
Both were residents of Barangay Bito-on, Jaro.
Dela Cruz and Arbolado were talking to two other friends at around 1 a.m. on Sunday when a misunderstanding ensued between them, a police report showed.
Dela Cruz escaped after the incident, police said./PN
