ILOILO City – A businessman was arrested yesterday on Iznart Street, Barangay Nonoy here.
According to complainant Rodney Gomo, 31, of Barangay Rizal Pala-pala, 56-year-old Joseph Hao hit him with a metal rod during a heated argument.
Gomo was an employee of a store renting a space at Hao’s building. He told the police that around 8:20 a.m. while he and colleagues were disassembling a display rack, Hao came over, chided them for being noisy, then left.
Moments later, however, according to Gomo, a confrontational Hao returned. A heated argument ensued.
Gomo claimed Hao hit him.
Hao was taken to Police Station 1./PN
