BACOLOD City – A businessman was shot to death in Barangay Maquiling, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 59-year-old Agapito Abastillas sustained gunshot wounds on the head and the body, a police report showed.
Abastillas – resident of Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City – was driving a motorcycle when the suspect peppered him with bullets using a .45-caliber gun around 11:05 a.m. on Friday, the report added.
Sagay City police station officer-in-charge Major Antonio Benitez Jr. said the gunman was already identified but refused to name him as they are conducting a follow up investigation./PN
