BACOLOD City – A businessman survived an attempt on his life in Barangay 2, Kabankalan City.
An unidentified suspect tried to kill resident Carl Michael Bajilidad, a police report showed.
From what the Kabankalan police gathered so far, the 43-year-old was tending to his meat shop when attacked.
The assassin, however, failed to hit Bajilidad who managed to run away.
Recovered from the crime scene were four spent bullets and three deformed slugs of a .45-caliber pistol.
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station, as this was being written, have yet to identify the suspect. The motive in the incident is still unknown as well./PN
