ILOILO City – A decomposing body was found on the second floor of a boardinghouse in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district.
His fellow tenants found the remains of the 31-year-old Robert Besa inside the room he was renting at around 5:25 p.m. Saturday.
A police report identified Besa as a resident of Barangay Balacuan, Dao, Capiz.
Police investigators have yet to determine the cause of death. They said the body did not have any wound.
On the same day in San Joaquin, Iloilo, a body of a girl was found at the shore of Barangay Bucaya.
Investigators have yet to identify the girl but estimated her age to be between 8 and 10 years old, another police report stated.
Residents found the body at around 10 a.m. The girl was clad in a pink T-shirt and yellow pair of pants. Locals believe she drowned./PN
