DUMARAO, Capiz – Rescuers recovered the body of a 36-year-old man in an overflow bridge in Barangay Lawaan around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28.
Michael Mercado Padernilla of Sitio Bajo, Barangay Bungsuan, was swept away by the strong water current on June 26.
Padenilla, allegedly inebriated, tried to cross the overflow bridge with his motorcycle.
Residents attempted to help him, but Padenilla slipped./PN
