ILOILO City – A bet collector for the illegal numbers game “bookies” was arrested in Pototan, Iloilo, a police report showed.
The 27-year-old Kier Bryan Calmerin of Barangay Batuan, Pototan was detained at the municipal police station.
Officers caught him soliciting bets on Ledesma Street, Pototan at around 10 a.m. on June 20, the police report stated.
Bet money worth P40 were seized from him./PN
