ILOILO City – He was caught collecting bets for an illegal numbers game in Barangay Zona Sur, Banate, Iloilo.
The 42-year-old resident Rodulfo Jamosin was detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station.
Police caught him on Sunday while he was gathering bets for the illegal numbers game bookies.
Recovered from his possession were cash amounting to P140, a ball pen and gambling paraphernalia.
Jamosin faces charges under Republic Act 9287, which increases penalties for illegal numbers games, amending certain provisions of Presidential Decree 1602./PN
