ILOILO City – Reden Chichirita faces an illegal gambling charge.
The 39-year-old resident of Barangay Pamul-ogan, Cabatuan, Iloilo was caught collecting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies.”
Police arrested him in Barangay Pungtod, Cabatuan at 12:40 p.m. on Thursday.
Gambling paraphernalia and bet money worth P660 were recovered from him.
Detained at the Cabatuan police station, Chichirita may be charged with violation of Republic Act 9287./PN
