ILOILO City – He was collecting bets for an illegal numbers game, police said.
The 28-year-old Ariel Poblacion was arrested in Barangay Capt. Tirador, Janiuay, Iloilo around 12:15 p.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
Poblacion – a resident of Barangay Guadalupe, Janiuay – was collecting bets for the numbers game bookies from residents in the area when officers from the municipal police station chanced upon him.
Recovered from his possession were bet money which amounted to P4,960 and gambling paraphernalia, police said.
