ILOILO City – Police arrested a man soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies” in Barangay Poblacion, Sara, Iloilo.
The 65-year-old resident Lorena Baco was nabbed around 1 p.m. on Jan. 29, police said.
Recovered from Baco’s possession were bet money which amounted to P258, gambling paraphernalia and identification card of Red Subay Gaming Corp.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Sara police station, facing charges./PN
