BORACAY – Properties worth around P2 million went up in smoke after fire hit a Barangay Manoc-Manoc in this famed island resort.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Officer 3 June Lamerez said the structures were made of light materials, which allowed the fast spread of fire around 3:01 a.m. on April 29.

BFP reported no casualties in the incident and declared a “fire-out” around 3:58.

Arson investigators have yet to identify the cause and origin of the fire incident. (With a report from Akean Forum/PN)
