BORACAY – An American upscale lifestyle magazine named the White Beach of Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan as one of the Top 15 Most Beautiful White Sand Beaches Around the World.
The Veranda Magazine mentioned the palm-lined beach has a season for everyone.
“Boracay’s nightlife hopping from December to May, summer and fall months for those who prefer a slower and quieter place’ as the best season to book a stay to White Beach,” the magazine said.
The pinkish-hued white sand of Shoal Bay Anguilla in the Carribean ranked as the top beach followed by Gran Anse in La Digue, Seychelles East Africa; Whitehaven in Whitsunday, Australia; La Cinta in Sardinia, Italy; Goose Rocks in Kennebunkport, Maine, USA; Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan; and Playa de Paraiso in Tulum, Mexico.
Also in the list were Boulders in Simon’s Town, South Africa; Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands; Clearwater in Florida, USA; Ksamil in Albania; Matira in Bora-Bora, French Polynesia; Trunk Bay in St. John, US Virgin Islands; Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Kauna’oa Bay in Kohala Coast, Hawaii.
