ILOILO City – A saleslady was accused of stealing items from a store in City Proper where she works.
Gretchen Elipe Adaya was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 1.
Her bosses — Sentak Marketing owner Bryan Chen Co and manager Joy Tan — arrested her around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17.
Adaya took several items from the store on De Leon Street and placed them in her shoulder bag, Tan told the police.
When she confronted Adaya, Tan said the saleslady failed to show any receipt for the following items:
* two toy guns, P110 each
* two Butanes, P65 each
* 13 dozens of 3ml Rexona Deo-Lotion, P455
* six Cetaphil Antibacterial Bar, P50 each./PN
