ILOILO City – A 13-year-old boy was hammered to death inside their house in Barangay Casalsagan, Pototan, Iloilo on Tuesday night.
Raul Pacheco Jr. was found dead by his father Raul Sr. at around 6:30 p m. on their kitchen floor.
The boy had multiple head injuries.
A blood-stained hammer was found near the body.
According to Pototan police chief, Police Captain Ciriaco Esquilarga, there may have been more than one attackers.
The motive may likely be robbery, he added.
The victim and his father were running an internet shop in their house.
“As of now we have no idea who killed the victim, but we believe indi magnubo sa duha ka suspects. Nagtuyo seguro ang mga suspects nga manguha kwarta nga benta sang internet shop pero nakita sang bata,” said Esquilarga.
